As a member of Childhaven's leadership team, I helped steward the organization through a period of incredible change. Multiple service lines were launched during my tenure, enabling the agency to provide mental health care to children and families like never before in its history.
Launching the new lines of service, however, created communications headaches. Potential clients didn't know what programs we had. Funders couldn't keep track of what we did, either. The organization also expanded its headcount rapidly, leading to major shifts in culture.
How could we unify the new Childhaven and announce its offerings to the world?
I developed the above agency identity video for just this purpose. At the start of the video, I cut between footage of multiple employees with distinct roles, all of whom appear to be so in-sync that they can finish each other's sentences. And I made sure to focus not just on the new services, but on their common human impact.
The video helped launch a new era for Childhaven, and has been used to promote the agency's programs to potential clients. When it was shown at an all-staff meeting, it received a standing ovation.
